Unboxing Registration Steps

Register the product after unboxing to verify authenticity, activation status and warranty time.

Find the Code

Take out the left brake caliper. The security activation code is located on the side of the product.

Scratch the Coating

Scratch the coating on the security activation code before scanning or entering the code.

Scan the QR Code

Use the platform QR code scanning tool to enter the anti-counterfeiting activation page.

Submit User Info

Register name, country, phone number, email address, purchase source and security code.

Installation Procedure

Brake Installation Steps and Instructions

Follow the sequence below to reduce fitment errors, wheel clearance problems, brake vibration and hose interference.

Parts Inspection

Before installing the brakes, check whether all parts are complete and whether the wheels can match the brake kit.

  • Confirm caliper, disc, bridge, pads, hoses and bolts.
  • Check wheel inner clearance before proceeding.
  • Do not continue if the kit and wheel space do not match.

Disassemble Original Vehicle Parts

Remove the wheels first, then remove the stock calipers and stock discs.

  • Keep the original brake fluid line connected until hose replacement is ready.
  • Protect surrounding parts from brake fluid contamination.

Clean the Original Axle Head

Clean the original axle head surface and sand off rust before installing the brake disc.

  • Rust or burrs can affect brake disc flatness.
  • Poor flatness can result in brake shaking or vibration.

Install the Bridge / Adapter Bracket

Install the bridge accurately using the correct ICOOH mounting method.

  • Choose from 9501, 9502, 9503 or 9504 according to the kit data.
  • Check whether the bracket creates fender, disc or caliper interference.
  • Tighten according to the required torque standard.

Install Brake Discs and Brake Calipers

Install the disc and caliper, then check that the disc is centered within the caliper jaws and does not touch other parts.

  • The brake disc must be locked with wheel / tire screws during checking.
  • Install the wheel hub to confirm the wheel space can accommodate the caliper.
  • If wheel spokes scrape the caliper, use the correct spacer or flange solution.

Install the Brake Fluid Line

Install the brake hose and adjust the hose position properly.

  • Do not allow sand or debris inside the hose connector.
  • The hose must not touch suspension or other moving parts.
  • Turn the steering wheel back and forth to confirm hose clearance.
  • Bleed the brake system according to the correct procedure.

Clearance Adjustment

Stainless Steel Adjustment Shim Installation

For bridge clearance adjustment, stainless steel shims can be placed between the vehicle mounting horn and the bridge, or between the bridge and the caliper. They are used to correct bridge height deviation and left-right position deviation.

Bedding Procedure

New Brake Pads and Discs Break-In Method

New brake calipers, brake discs and brake pads require proper bedding. The correct process helps the pad and disc surfaces contact more evenly, reduces future noise and improves braking performance.

First Bedding Cycle

Brake moderately from 50 km/h to 20 km/h. Repeat 8-10 times, with about 40 seconds between each braking action.

Second Bedding Cycle

Brake with stronger force from 70 km/h to 30 km/h. Repeat 3 times, with about 1 minute between each cycle.

Driving Reminder

Use one-foot braking only. Do not drag the brake. Do not drive aggressively or wash the vehicle while the brake discs are still at high temperature.

Troubleshooting

Common Brake Kit Installation Problems

The manual highlights three frequent symptoms after installation: soft pedal, weak braking on a new kit, and hard pedal with poor braking effect.
